Answer: Composites and indirect restorations (crowns, onlays, etc.) do not share frequency. You should expect payment as usual.
What may occur is a buildup (D2950) not being covered. Sometimes they share frequencies with composites. Buildups are direct restorations. A cast post and core (D2952) are indirect and wouldn't share frequency. It all depends on how the plan is written.
Generally, out of the clients we serve nationwide, this scenario is not an issue with most payors.
